This year's Louisey Rider Cup after party will again be held at The Playwright. Join us on Saturday 15th of June from 8 pm until late for our annual epic roller derby get together. It's back, bigger and better than ever.
Above all, you can still expect the sensational and not to be missed LRC Lip Sync Battle. - Who will take the 2024 crown and win ultimate bragging rights as champion? YOU (and Sharon) decide.
The Playwright is a gorgeous Nottingham City Centre venue which is accessible and close by to transport links as well as a host of restaurants and accommodation. They serve a huge variety of soft drinks, beers, spirits and even the odd swanky cocktail making it perfect for all tastes. Plus, it's versatile, with a great party space as well as a garden and plenty of comfy seating tucked away if you want a place to natter and catch up with friends. And we have exclusive use of the venue all night, so you're free to be you surrounded with the love and respect of other roller derby folx!
After party entry is free to all LRC skaters, volunteers and spectators age 18 or over. Your game day wrist band also your ticket to the after party, please retain it to ensure entry on the evening.
While there are a couple of steps up to the front entrance of the pub, there is an accessible entrance to the side of the venue. Please do use this entrance if it makes accessibility more comfortable for you when moving to and from the venue.
LRC is a safe space for everyone involved. We will refuse admission to anyone we feel may threaten this. We will remove people from the after party if their conduct jeopardises the safety and well-being of attendees. Please respect the wishes of others at all times.
We have one important rule. You do you. Wear whatever clothes you're comfortable in and best express you. But of course, glitter and sparkles are always encouraged.
Beware anyone offering to re-sell tickets via social media. You can only enter the LRC After Party if you're a part of the tournament day. Skater tickets sell out fast and are only re-sold/ re-allocated by LRC. Spectator tickets will be available right up until the day so there is no need to buy these from third-party sellers.
